UKSUG is close to but independent of Sybase. Established over 25 years ago it is a not-for-profit organisation that provides members with a forum to share knowledge, best practice and expertise with industry peers whilst developing their Sybase skills.
ADL Consulting were contracted late on in the build process to rescue the project, after the previous contractors failed to deliver the required functionality. The member management of the site required some complex custom work to deliver the requirements, differentiating between visitors, authenticated users, and paid-up members.
